Hello and Goodbye Sydney with the wonderful family Jennifer and Tony Crittenden

To get into the harbour of Sydney is a question of timing and permission from the authorities. We got the “slot” time to enter the harbour in the dark at 6 am, but what a docking position we were assigned, just opposite the Sydney Opera House – First row to the show.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is called “the big hanger” and it really looks like a big hanger.

Just to prove I was there

Here the English Governess Mrs MacQuaris were sitting longing for England .Today the place has got her name.

If ever you meet a warship with a little red kangaroo on the side on the seven seas, it is Australian.

QVB – Queen Victoria Building – a little like Harrods in London – was condemned to demolishion, but the local people protested and today it is renovated beautifully.

The Sydney Opera House has now given Jørn Utzon  his “own” room – reconciliation before his death. Likewise he was allowed to complete the opera houses interior decoration.

Two good friends from Sydney  Jennifer and Tony Crittenden, the parents of Sophie Dayton in Newcastle, visited me onboard the beautiful Crystal Serenity, and we spent a wonderful afternoon onboard the ship.

That “little” ship is Crystal Serenity.

People on  top of the bridge

On our way out of  Sydney Harbour.

We were fotomodels on our way out - the helicopter had got permission of the Master

Well that was Syney with its Opera House
